*main objective*:
analyze large data sets to identify trends and patterns.
Communicate results to other team members and stakeholders.
Turn data into information, information into insights, and insights into business decisions.
*responsabilities*:
- capture data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases and data systems.
- filter and clean data by reviewing digital and printed reports.
- use statistical tools and techniques to identify patterns and trends.
- provide support and recommendations based on data to improve performance.
- identify areas of opportunity to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
- design, develop, and deploy*power bi*solutions.
- create attractive and understandable data graphics to present analysis results.
- communicate analysis results to other team members and stakeholders.
- present analysis results clearly and concisely to the company for better business decisions.
- prepare periodic reports.
- oversee proper functionality of sap incident management, intelex, and other hss platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience and offering technical support to address any issues promptly.
- stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the field of data analysis.
- document processes according to the company's established management systems.
- adhere to the work plans defined for the technology and improvement team.
- collaborate in the development of training materials and safety moments.
- identify and promote best practices in the area.
- support the development of new projects and technologies.
- maintain effective communication and collaboration with departments, such as, internal communication, external communication, information technology (it) and operations technology (ot).
- conduct periodic follow-up meetings with the hss improvement and technology leader.
- perform tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
*main requiriments*:
- minimum of two years of related experience.
- industrial engineering, computer science engineering, data science or related field.
- proficient oral and written communication skills in english and spanish.
- availability to travel.
