- we are currently searching for a production/ operation manager in our monterrey, mx facility.
responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
manages value stream and supporting resources to meet production schedules, delivery dates, quality requirements and cost objectives.
works with teams to enable smooth and seamless transition of goods being produced
defines the acceptance criteria and sets up the measurement systems to determine when successful transition is achieved.
maintains an effective organization and positive working environment; ensures that work centers are appropriately staffed and that employees are properly qualified and trained.
supports and deploys lean manufacturing practices and tools through training and leadership of continuous improvement events,
departmental display board meetings, use of departmental kaizen boards, and dmaic methodology.
ensures that facilities, tooling and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated to maximize work center output, and to provide safe working conditions.
responsible for establishing performance objectives for employees, for routinely providing performance feedback as required, and for providing formal performance reviews.
provides daily updates at visual leadership meetings on identified line metrics, status, and issues.
required skills required skills*:bachelor's degree in engineering /business discipline required.
*2+ years experience in production and/or material management (operations, contracts, program management, lean manufacturing) *2+ years progressive leadership experience required experience*
