job responsibilities:
* standardize and establish planned preventive, predictive, and corrective activities for equipment to ensure proper functioning.
* maintain tooling and peripheral equipment for transfer dies in optimal condition to meet production schedules and organizational goals.
required experience and education:
* technical degree or engineering background.
* minimum of 5 years in the automotive industry in a similar role.
technical knowledge:
* programming transfer system curves and process advancement bands, gantry, etc.
* repair, implementation, and design of transfer arms.
* repair and standardization of press peripheral equipment.
* maintenance management: preventive, predictive, corrective.
* intermediate mechanics, interpretation of die drawings.
* intermediate to advanced electricity, interpretation of electrical diagrams.
* digital and analog electronics, card repair.
* basic die knowledge, die protection.
* intermediate pneumatics, basic hydraulics.
* design, implementation, and commissioning of transfer dies and related equipment.
* maintenance software.
* electrical and manual mig welding, piping, workshop tools.
* knowledge of mechanical presses.
* sensors and safety applications integration for press equipment.
* fanuc-nachi handling robots (desired).
* reporting and device/mechanical design skills.
