*3+ years industrial customer service experience.*
*experience with edi, sigip and sap systems strongly preferred.*
*working knowledge of manufacturing systems.*
*experience processing customer orders and releases and the ability to manage the supporting documentation.*
- *main responsibilities*:_
*edits orders received for price and nomenclature.*
*informs customer of unit prices, shipping dates, and additional information needed by customer*
*data entry into computer.*
*prints shipment documents and forwards to customer service supervisor for review.*
*records or files copy of orders received.*
*prepares invoices and shipping documents.*
*resolves service needs, questions and complaints by telephone or written correspondence through gathering, researching and analyzing information, and escalate unresolved issues to management as needed.*
*maintains a calm and professional demeanor when handling demanding situations*
*collaborates with production planners on the customer schedule changes and proactively communicates with both internal teams and customer on solutions.*
*address issues that impact servicing our customers and seek resolution tactics.*
*receives and checks customer complaints.*
*assists in maintain iatf16949/ iso9000 requirements within the department.*
*performs other duties as needed or as directed by the customer service supervisor and/or logistics manager.*
