Lead devops engineer – brillio (guadalajara hybrid)


overview

brillio is a leading digital technology service provider. The lead devops engineer will design, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on aws and azure, automate deployment pipelines, and integrate ai capabilities into business processes.


responsibilities

* build internal tools, automation scripts, and developer-facing interfaces.
* develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (aws, azure) using terraform, cloudformation, bicep, and azure arm.
* implement ci/cd pipelines with circleci, argocd, github actions, azure devops, and jenkins.
* lead migration of workloads within azure and across aws services.
* manage networking, storage, compute, and security in multi-cloud environments.
* design high-availability architectures and disaster recovery strategies.
* automate system health checks, self-healing mechanisms, and infrastructure scaling.
* ensure observability through azure monitor, elk, grafana, and application insights.
* apply security best practices (iam, vnet, waf, zero-trust) and maintain compliance (soc2, pci).
* work with cross-functional teams to embed ai capabilities via apis, agents, or prompt workflows.


qualifications

* 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure.
* hands‑on expertise with aws (ec2, iam, eks, rds, s3, cloudwatch, lambda) and azure (service fabric, aks, apim, azure functions, azure sql).
* proficient with iac tools: terraform, cdk, bicep, cloudformation, pulumi, or arm templates.
* strong scripting skills in python, bash, powershell, yaml, and c#/.net core.
* experience with container orchestration (kubernetes, eks).
* knowledge of observability tools (prometheus, grafana, opentelemetry, elk).
* excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and incident‑management skills.
* strong communication, autonomy, and ability to lead processes and projects.
* preferred certifications: az‑400, az‑305, az‑104, or equivalent aws certifications.

lead/senior platform engineer – brillio (guadalajara hybrid)


responsibilities

* build internal tools, automation scripts, and developer‑facing interfaces.
* develop and maintain cloud‑based infrastructure (aws) to support hosting of foundational models and intelligent agents.
* implement infrastructure-as-code (iac) practices using terraform/cdk.
* embed ai capabilities into business processes via apis, agents, or prompt workflows.

qualifications

* 5+ years of aws platform engineering (ecs, rds, cloudwatch, etc.).
* proven software development experience (python, typescript).
* familiarity with database administration and troubleshooting.
* hands‑on experience automating real‑world processes or building internal tools.
* experience with terraform or cdk for provisioning infrastructure.
* familiarity with ci/cd pipelines and git‑based workflows.
* strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work autonomously across teams.

devops engineer (hybrid) – azure focus – brillio


what you'll do

* architect, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily on azure.
* lead migration of workloads within azure, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
* optimize and maintain azure service fabric cluster (sfc) and api management (apim).
* implement best practices for infrastructure as code (iac) using terraform, bicep, or arm templates.
* design and manage networking, storage, and compute services.
* implement high‑availability architectures with failover and disaster recovery strategies.
* define and enforce service level objectives (slos), indicators (slis), and agreements (slas).
* optimize cost, performance, and security of cloud services.
* implement observability tools such as azure monitor, elk, grafana, and application insights.
* automate system health checks, self‑healing mechanisms, and infrastructure scaling.
* utilize powershell, yaml, and python for automation.


qualifications

* own and improve the continuous release build (crb) system.
* manage build pipelines across bitbucket pipelines, aws codedeploy/codepipeline, and jenkins.
