About alpenglo digital
alpenglo is a specialized consultancy delivering ai-accelerated gtm diligence and value creation for private equity–backed companies. We help pe firms identify revenue acceleration levers, reduce cac, improve gtm efficiency, and uncover upside within 30 days.
we are building a world-class portfolio revenue acceleration audit and are hiring a senior strategist who can lead the strategic analysis and diagnostic components of each audit.
this is not a marketing execution role.
this is a high-level strategic role ideal for someone with deep gtm, funnel, cac/ltv, and revenue mechanics expertise — ideally with experience supporting private equity.
role overview
the senior strategist is responsible for analyzing a company’s full gtm engine, identifying value creation opportunities, interpreting data, and generating clear, insight-driven strategic findings for pe partners.
you will handle ~70–80% of the audit independently, working closely with the ceo for directional alignment and final narrative refinement.
this role requires cross-functional gtm experience across marketing, sales, cs, and revops.
key responsibilities
1. Gtm diagnostic analysis
you will analyze:
* cac, ltv, payback, channel efficiency
* funnel performance & leakage
* icp, segmentation, messaging clarity
* pricing & packaging
* sales process, pipeline velocity, win rates
* cs retention & expansion
* revops maturity & handoff quality
* ai maturity & automation opportunities
* gtm motion alignment across marketing → sales → cs
2. Identify value creation levers
this is the core of the role.
you should be able to:
* spot revenue leakage
* identify the highest-impact levers
* tie recommendations to financial outcomes
* prioritize initiatives based on impact/effort
* translate insights into a clear value creation story
3. Strategic deliverable creation
you will produce:
* gtm diagnostic slides
* insight sections
* gtm maturity scoring
* ai maturity highlights
* value creation opportunities
* 100-day acceleration recommendations
* 12-month roadmap highlights
4. Full written report draft
you will draft the complete written audit report (typically 20–40 pages), including:
* gtm diagnostic findings
* funnel performance analysis
* cac, ltv, payback, and revenue mechanics interpretation
* marketing, sales, cs, and revops assessments
* gtm and ai maturity scoring
* value creation opportunities
* 100-day and 12-month recommendations
* narrative explanations for charts, data, and insights
you are responsible for producing the first full, comprehensive report draft based on your analysis.
5. Collaborate with analyst support
you may direct:
* data gathering
* funnel extraction
* research
* slide building
you ensure insights—not just information—drive the narrative.
what you will not do
to avoid misalignment, this is not your job:
❌ you do not execute marketing campaigns
❌ you do not manage clients directly
❌ you do not build sops or internal systems
❌ you do not project manage delivery
❌ you do not perform administrative work
❌ you do not create content
❌ you do not manage the team
your role is strategic analysis and insight generation.
desired outcomes
you are successful when:
✔ the audit produces pe-grade insights
✔ value creation levers are clear and defensible
✔ you identify gtm inefficiencies quickly
✔ your work reduces ceo involvement to < 5 hours per audit
✔ the audit framework becomes more repeatable with your input
✔ clients (and pe partners) see immediate value in your analysis
we are building a scalable, repeatable audit product — your contribution must strengthen that product.
