*description* *mes-sap business analyst* the global value delivery mes-sap business analyst will support manufacturing operations in the deployment of it solutions and will play a lead role in the deployment of the siemens opcenter/camstar manufacturing execution system (mes) solution in molex's plants.
this role will work with all stakeholders to optimize manufacturing processes and systems to drive business process continuous improvements.
he will also need to have a clear and deep understanding of the sap processes in the pp (production planning) and shopfloor areas so that he will understand what we defined in molex and will be able to analyze the requirements of the different sites in relation with the opcenter implementation.
he will need also make sure the proposed changes can be implemented without negative impacts on sap at plant and global levels.
*what you will do in your role* - learn the opcenter global template as well as m&o; global process design - engage in and facilitate stakeholder discussions to understand, analyze and document manufacturing business requirements, business processes, and technical specifications - support the solution assessments and/or design localization sessions to ensure that functional and technical specifications meet the identified business needs and are compliant with molex policies and molex global standards.
- review the high and detail requirements and collaboratively author detail design specifications - combine opcenter mes global solution and reusable components for integration of system, machine, and user interfaces, as well as modelling design to meet the business requirements - work with functional business personnel and/or super users in order to prepare specifications for customized development.
- prepare the documentation required for implementing changes in both systems sap and opcenter (charm, jira, fds, frs, etc.).
- submit enhancement requirements to capability leads for dispositioning (integral vs. local enhancements) and approval - working with local super users to develop and test local business scenarios and ensure these are documented.
- work with functional business personnel and/or super users in order to prepare system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and cut-over plans - provides hands-on assistance and mentoring related to configuration, testing and validation of opcenter mes & other shopfloor systems - perform or assist in root cause investigations and changes/updates in mes and/or sap and identify changes needed - be an agent for continuous improvement.
proactively participate in determining new functionality that would enhance operations.
- lead effort to enable new capabilities requested by site operations to optimize their use of technology - participate in the resolution p1/p2, and other incidents.
- make sure that site readiness project related activities for deployment are delivered on time for a successful go-live.
*the experience you will bring* *requirements*: - deep knowledge of sap pp (production planning) and sap shopfloor processes - experience with mes systems interfaced with sap - experience in implementing, and supporting manufacturing and mes technologies, including traceability, automated data collection, visualization, quality and efficiency in manufacturing - familiar with device connectivity tools (plc, opc, historians, scada, hmi) - fluent english (professional proficiency) *what will put you ahead* - knowledge of other sap pp-related modules used in molex (im, wm, mm, qm, pm) - experience with siemens opcenter/camstar modeling - experience implementing mes systems - 3+ years of experience with molex sap.
