job summary
:

* our client is seeking a talented and experienced
hr manager
to oversee and manage all human resources functions in their mexico city office. The hr manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing the company's hr strategies, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and compliance with local labor laws. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in hr system design, employee development, conflict resolution, and performance management.

key responsibilities
:

* hr system & process design
: design, implement, and manage comprehensive hr systems, including performance management, salary policies, onboarding, employee transfers, separations, and training programs.
* salary & benefits management
: lead the development and administration of competitive salary structures, compensation programs, and employee benefits. Ensure the consistency of compensation policies in line with company objectives and industry standards.
* employee relations
: manage and resolve employee relations issues, including handling labor audits, internal disputes, and grievances. Act as the primary liaison between employees and management to ensure smooth communication.
* employee development
: lead initiatives to enhance employee development, including training, career advancement programs, and performance evaluations. Ensure alignment between employee goals and organizational objectives.
* labor law compliance
: ensure compliance with mexican labor laws and human resources regulations. Handle any legal issues or labor audits in collaboration with external authorities or legal teams.
* leadership & team management
: lead and mentor the hr team to foster a positive work environment. Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to align hr strategy with business objectives.
* corporate culture
: foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance company culture that supports the organization's core values and goals. Promote employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention.

qualifications

* education
: bachelor's degree in human resources, administration, business, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
* experience
:
* at least 5 years of experience in human resources management, including experience in employee relations, performance management, and labor law compliance.
* proven track record in designing and managing hr systems and processes for a large, international organization.
* strong experience in managing conflict resolution, handling labor audits, and resolving employee disputes.
* leadership experience in managing hr teams and collaborating with senior management on strategic initiatives.
* existing relationships with labor authorities/lawyers is preferred

* in-depth knowledge of mexican labor laws, hr regulations, and best practices. Strong experience in handling labor disputes and compliance reviews

* ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters with discretion.
