Job summary the on‑site occupational doctor is responsible for providing primary medical care, preventive occupational health services, and first response support to employees, while ensuring compliance with imss and labor regulations. This role includes clinical diagnosis, treatment, and coordination with external medical providers, as well as participation in workplace wellness and health promotion programs. The doctor acts as a key partner to hr operations, benefits, and facilities to maintain employee health, safety, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities clinical & occupational health services provide on‑site medical consultations, diagnosis, and treatment within the legal scope of practice. Respond to medical events, coordinate care, and refer employees to external medical services as needed. Oversee and maintain onsite medical supplies and medications according to internal protocols. Keep accurate, confidential medical records for all occupational health interactions. Compliance & employer‑side health administration coordinate employer‑side medical documentation and imss filings (st‑7 forms, maternity leave transfers, administrative clarifications). Collect and validate employee health information to support compliance processes. Act as the primary liaison between employees, hr, and imss for procedural guidance and case follow‑up. Stps / nom‑030 preventive health & safety programs lead and participate in preventive safety and health programs in compliance with nom‑030‑stps. Conduct workplace health risk assessments, ergonomic evaluations, and preventive interventions. Support hr and facilities in emergency preparedness, first‑aid brigades, drills, and related compliance documentation (e.g., nom‑019). Provide guidance to employees on occupational health, early detection, and preventive care measures. Health data, absenteeism & reporting track and analyze health‑related metrics, including: on‑site and remote health consultations, absenteeism trends (loa‑based), imss vs non‑imss cases. Prepare monthly dashboards and quarterly insights for hr operations and leadership. Identify recurring health patterns and provide preventive recommendations. Wellness programs & employee health engagement partner with benefits and hr to design and deliver annual wellness initiatives for onsite and remote employees. Facilitate health and wellness education sessions, for virtual and onsite employees, and preventive awareness campaigns. Support wellness communications with clear, non‑clinical guidance aligned to employee needs. Promote proactive health behaviors and early escalation to appropriate medical providers. Requirements medical doctor (m.d. or equivalent) with valid mexican license. Knowledge of occupational health principles, clinical assessment, and first‑response care. Familiarity with imss processes and employer‑side compliance responsibilities (st‑7 forms, administrative clarifications, imss and maternity week transfer forms). Understanding of stps regulations, including nom‑030 and emergency preparedness standards. Strong organizational, documentation, and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with onsite and remote employees. High level of discretion and confidentiality. Minimum level of education or education/experience: bachelor's degree. Minimum years of work experience: 2 years.
