Overview

we are looking for account managers to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The account manager will oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities.


responsibilities

* overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit
* serve as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to accounts
* build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
* develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
* work with teams to improve the entire customer experience
* work with all levels of people in an organization to reach desired customer service and revenues
* clearly communicate cases and work with them to close them
* develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
* assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
* ability to onboard and provide on-going training to key customers
* define and maintain customer pipeline and work on a daily basis sales funnel and meet monthly account sales revenue targets
* become a mentor to customers by building and maintaining positive working relationships


requirements

* proven work experience as an account manager, key account manager, sales account manager, or relevant supervisory role
* strong sales knowledge
* analytical and strategic thinking
* organizational skills and reliability
* demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
* solid experience with crm software and ms office (particularly ms excel)
* experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
* proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
* excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
* strong verbal and written communication skills
* ba/bs degree in business administration, sales or relevant field
* medical sales background is a plus, but not required
* bi-lingual (spanish and english) is a plus
* strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and project management skills

We are looking for a business development professional in the area of transport to drive client value creation, thought leadership and industry solutions for products and services enabling business growth within mela. The respective business developer has deep industry insights and has strong relationships across and understanding of the industry ecosystem and key actors.


what you will do

* position ericsson as a thought and technology leader, grow our business and build strong customer relations in the area of transport with focus on microwave and ip & fronthaul
* influence customers' vision and strategy, drive ericsson involvement in crafting customer visions, strategies and requirements
* engage with non-csp customers, such as mcn and enterprise, provide support for new csp customers and influence industry trends and standards
* lead industry engagement to drive/provide expertise for new solutions/break-ins and other opportunities
* support the customer units (sales teams) in mela to develop needs and funnel, act as an industry expert and authority
* develop viable and competitive business/commercial models with commercial management
* define technical/development partnership requirements with portfolio management for generic and industry-specific products
* define industry offerings strategies and roadmaps in mela
* solution qualification in opportunities and industry business/commercial models
* functional industry requirements to portfolio development
* recommend and drive techno-commercial value argumentation
* collaborate with other products lines’ organizations in the business areas
* develop competence and knowledge sharing in mela
* share best methodologies within mela
* excellent presentation skills and ability to articulate a “transport evolution” vision to customers


you will bring

* substantial experience from transport, preferably from sales, presales and delivery of complex projects
* strong business understanding and critical thinking
* senior capability in leading and inspiring change in large, complex, and cross-functional teams
* strong cultural awareness and excellent interpersonal communications and networking skills
* thought leadership in identifying short- and long-term priorities to improve the business strategy
* strong techno-commercial approach
* clear understanding of the terms and conditions of contracts in the industry
* based in latin america
