*what will you do*
the north america commercial finance manager will be part of the global products controls business unit reporting to its executive finance director. This role will impact and aid the controls business’ largest geography in achieving our financial and strategic growth objectives. You’ll be responsible for financial planning, reporting, and programs and rebates across the north america commercial teams. This position will serve as the primary finance function partner to the na commercial sales leader.
*how you will do it*
- responsible for all channel planning and reporting activities for a $0.5b+ north america business segment
- key strategic partner and first point of contract for all financial related matters for the na sales organization
- coordinate closely with and approve several traditional month-end closing accounting activities (i.e. standard journal entries, reconciliations, etc.) performed by the rtr team in our india business center
- assist with account planning and quarterly salesforce incentive compensation calculations
- key contributor to monthly na growth reviews and helping to identify, target and track key klis for channel expansion
- primary point of contact for accounting/accruals related to customer discounts and rebates
- maintains and monitors a well-controlled and invariably ‘integrity first’ environment
- able to partner with and influence high level sales leaders
- conduct ad hoc analyses as requested, proactively searching for opportunities to deliver additional insights to members of the global controls senior leadership team

- bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- 6+ years of work experience. Preferably with a strong background in financial planning and analysis
- strong budgeting and variance analysis experience
- financial modeling skills needed to do evaluate growth scenarios associated with promotional investment activity
- excellent communication, business writing, analytic, critical thinking, problem solving, and coaching skills.
