Job summary: the financial accountant is responsible for carrying out all activities related to the company's financial accounting, ensuring that accounting records are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable tax and accounting regulations.this role involves preparing financial statements, managing accounts, overseeing bank reconciliations, and meeting tax deadlines.main responsibilitiespreparation of financial statements: prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) and ensure accuracy and consistency in accordance with us gaap or local accounting standards.account reconciliations: perform and review bank, accounts receivable, and accounts payable reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded and align with account balances.fixed asset management: manage the recording and depreciation of company fixed assets and keep the asset inventory up to date.tax compliance: prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (e.g., vat, income tax) and ensure compliance with all applicable tax and labor regulations; manage tax audits and collaborate with external and internal auditors.financial analysis: provide analysis to support strategic decision-making, interpret variances in reports, and recommend improvements to operational efficiency and profitability.support in budget preparation: collaborate with the finance team on annual budget and financial projections, monitor budget compliance, and prepare variance reports.internal and external audits: assist audit processes by providing necessary documentation and reports, ensuring records align with internal policies.management of accounts receivable and payable: oversee timely payments and collections, monitor overdue accounts, and coordinate with the collections department to resolve discrepancies.other responsibilities: provide accounting support to other business areas, implement process improvements and new tools, and stay current on tax and accounting regulation changes.qualificationsbachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related fields.professional certification in accounting (e.g., cpa) preferred.intermediate-advanced english proficiency.3-5 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role.experience preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.proficiency in accounting and financial software (sap, oracle, quickbooks, etc.).advanced knowledge of microsoft excel.familiarity with national and international accounting standards (ifrs).high level of accuracy and attention to detail.analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.strong written and verbal communication skills.ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.team-oriented with ability to collaborate with other departments.location & workramos arizpe, coahuila – in person.languageenglish (required).pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per month.#j-*-ljbffr
