job description
responsible for managing tax compliance and advisory for internationally mobile employees. This role ensures alignment with global tax laws, reduces risk and cost, and supports smooth cross-border transitions for employees.
key responsibilities
* prepare and review tax returns for globally mobile employees.
* advise on tax planning, assignment structures, and social security contributions.
* collaborate with hr and finance to ensure accurate payroll tax reporting.
* educate employees on tax obligations and equalization policies.
* analyze compensation data to calculate tax liabilities and benefits.
* maintain accurate tax records and stay updated on tax law changes.
* act as primary contact for clients with mobile employees or business travelers.
* support clients with global mobility strategies and provide regular updates.
* manage engagement finances (billing, collections, kpis).
* identify new business opportunities and help grow client relationships.
additional duties
* schedule and attend appointments with tax/social security offices.
* coordinate required documentation with clients and assignees.
* maintain an updated database of local tax process requirements.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, tax, or a related field.
* 2–4 years of experience in personal tax or global mobility tax (big 4 or similar firm preferred).
* knowledge of international tax laws and social security regulations.
* strong analytical and organizational skills.
* excellent communication in english; additional languages a plus.
* client-focused mindset with attention to detail.
* ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
