asset manager (logistics and industrial)
develop and execute asset management strategies for a diversified logistics/industrial real estate portfolio in mexico.
key responsibilities:
1. asset management strategy: align operations with investment goals, oversee third-party collaborations, and coordinate with the investment team.
2. leasing and marketing: analyze market dynamics, develop proactive asset management and leasing strategies, and manage tenant sourcing, lease renewals, and negotiations.
3. property operations: develop and oversee portfolio and asset budgets, identify operational risks, manage property maintenance, valuations, and insurance.
4. financial management and reporting: oversee financial data from third-party managers, review financial statements, and prepare portfolio performance reports.
5. capital expenditures and modifications: support value-add capex projects, manage budgets, and ensure timely inspections and compliance.
6. disposal and exit strategy: advise on market positioning and oversee asset disposition.
7. other tasks: monitor market trends, present findings, and support the investment team with underwriting based on market data.
qualifications
requirements:
* 7+ years of asset management experience, especially in logistics/industrial assets.
* strong financial analysis skills, including excel modeling, partnership-level returns, and capital markets processes.
* basic knowledge of permitting, building systems, construction, and contractor management.
* proficient in powerpoint and word; yardi and argus knowledge is a plus.
* spanish and english fluency required; other languages are a bonus.
