position summary
job responsibilities:
1. maintain and modify hfm/hyperion planning/essbase application metadata and member attributes using epma workspace.
2. supports the entire finance organization during budget, lrp & forecasting cycles
3. supports and enacts fp&a process and work-flow governance standards
4. performs & monitors bulk data loads and extracts
5. defines,maintainsand documents in-app security settings for essbase, planning, hfm, hyperion reports
6. maintains current state objects and functional artefacts (calculations, web forms, etc.)
7. document and manage all shared/centralized functional fp&a sops as well as all essbase and planning application and process designs
8. manages central report repository (reports, batches, etc.)
9. level 1 and level 2 functional application support system and user issues such as calculation errors, business rules conflicts, data integrity concerns, security issues, web form errors, data load errors, etc. Escalating to technical support where necessary
10. current state hm/planning/essbase expert and reviewer of enhancement design
11. develops small scale enhancements to existing applications and other application modifications that are considered business as usual (bau) changes. For larger changes, engages and manages external resources
12. supports fp&a and accounting systems projects for enhancements.
position requirements/qualifications:
13. bachelor’s degree from an accredited4 yearuniversity; preferably in accounting or finance.
14. minimum 3-5 years’ experience supporting an oracle hyperion planning and essbase user community, developing reports, andmaintainingcomplex data structures.
15. prior system conversion/implementation experience a plus; hyperion implementation a strong plus.
