Overview
The Home Delivery Operations Supervisor is responsible for orchestration and performance of Herbalife’s home delivery service, which represents 10% of total sales across 14 shipping points in Mexico. This role ensures operational excellence through third-party order preparation and parcel delivery providers, aligning with strategic supply chain objectives.
What you would contribute
- Strategic Alignment of Home Delivery Operations: Ensure alignment with Herbalife’s supply chain strategy and customer-focused objectives. Support strategic planning of shipping point locations, service coverage, and operational models that maximize value and efficiency across the network.
- Definition and Governance of Business Rules: Translate corporate policies into actionable business rules for dispatch timing, delivery service levels, customer service protocols, and logistics coordination, ensuring consistency across all shipping points and vendors.
- Performance Management and Continuous Improvement: Monitor KPIs (on-time dispatch, on-time delivery, delivery within two business days, customer complaint rates). Analyze gaps, lead root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement through reporting and reviews.
- Data, Information, and Technology Enablement: Maintain accurate operational data (addresses, shipping codes, delivery frequencies, vendor information). Support integration and optimization of systems involved in home delivery, ensuring data integrity for decision-making.
- Resource Planning and Skill Development: Identify knowledge and skill requirements; assess resource availability; support training and monitor effectiveness of programs to ensure operational readiness.
- Contract and Agreement Management: Oversee contracts and SLAs with logistics providers; onboard vendors, manage billing, ensure compliance; facilitate performance reviews and negotiations.
- Network Design and Optimization: Contribute to design and optimization of the network by analyzing impact of opening/closing points, evaluating routes, proposing changes to improve service and reduce costs; support scenario modeling.
- Regulatory and Compliance Integration: Ensure compliance with laws and standards; monitor regulatory environment, identify gaps, support remediation and certifications where applicable.
- Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify risks; develop mitigation strategies such as alternate routing, vendor diversification, escalation protocols.
- Sustainability and Governance: Support ESG initiatives through packaging optimization, route efficiency, waste reduction; align with Herbalife’s ESG goals.
- Enterprise Business Planning Integration: Align operations with strategic and financial objectives; contribute to scenario development and forecasting.

Qualifications
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in last-mile delivery.
- 2+ years of experience managing teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and contracts.
- Proficiency in dashboard tools and supply chain systems.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
