key responsibilities:
* design & build idp:
architect and implement internal developer platform (idp) components, including provisioning workflows and operational tooling via github/azure devops.
* automation & iac:
develop automation using
terraform
, aws cloudformation, and
python
scripting.
* ci/cd pipeline engineering:
construct and refine pipelines using
github actions
and
azure devops
for automated testing and deployment.
* containerization:
build, manage, and optimize container-based workflows and images using
docker
.
* deep aws expertise:
design, implement, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant aws infrastructure (compute, networking, storage, serverless).
* security & observability:
embed security best practices and deploy monitoring, logging (e.g.,
elk stack
), and alerting systems (
prometheus, grafana
).
* developer experience:
create clear documentation, runbooks, and developer-facing tooling (apis/clis) with a product mindset.
requirements:
* experience:
4+ years in platform engineering, devops, or infrastructure automation roles.
* cloud:
deep knowledge of
aws
and building cloud native solutions.
* iac:
strong fluency in
terraform
and aws cloudformation/sam.
* devops tools:
proficiency with
github
workflows/actions and
azure devops
(pipelines, repos, boards).
* scripting:
advanced proficiency in
python
for automation, orchestration, and cli creation.
* containers:
expertise with
docker
(image building, registry management, orchestration).
* soft skills:
strong cross-team communication and a
product mindset
(treating the platform as a developer-facing product).
nice to have:
* certifications:
aws solutions architect, azure devops, docker associate, etc.
* gitops/service mesh:
familiarity with tools like
argocd
, istio, or linkerd.
* multi-cloud:
experience with multi-cloud or hybrid deployments.
* other ci/cd:
experience with jenkins.
