Crm & marketing it area within santander bank is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing a set of batch and online applications in its portfolio. This role is for a subject matter expert who develops software programs to meet project schedules and maintains and supports existing software applications, while working to resolve complex issues. The candidate selected will also be responsible for the day-to-day support of the code and the technical upgrades to overcome obsolescence needs in both software and underlying infrastructure.

* responsible for level 3 support (code support) of crm applications, either batch (mainly cobol) or online (mainly bankspere/java).
* lead post-implementation validations on technical and infrastructure bau changes.
* follow the company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs.
* execute technical plans, system analysis, detailed design specifications, development, and testing.
* develop and maintain operational and system-level documentation.
* participate in, and sometimes lead, code reviews and root cause analysis.
* assist in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents.
* review functional requirements, analysis, and design documents, providing feedback.
* collaborate with team members to achieve quality and consistency.
qualifications:
* bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology management, or equivalent work experience.

* extensive hands-on experience with programming languages: cobol, informatica power center, java, unix, sql. Larger focus on cobol and informatica power center.
* knowledge of etl processes and batch scheduling tools (e.g., control-m).
