Trinity Industries, Inc. is seeking an HR Systems Specialist to join our Queretaro, Mexico Office!
As an HR Systems Specialist at Trinity, you will serve as a hands-on systems analyst, improving the accuracy, functionality, and usability of our HR platforms. You'll configure key parts of the HRIS, run business-critical reporting, and ensure compliance. This role combines HR operational knowledge with technical configuration and cross- functional collaboration.
What you'll do:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Oracle HR Cloud applications, providing end-to-end ownership of system functionality, configuration, and end-user support across Recruitment and Core HR modules.
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable, effective HR system configurations aligned with best practices.
- Build and maintain advanced OTBI and BI Publisher reports to support HR analytics, compliance, and business operations.
- Lead system enhancement projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Payroll, Benefits, IT, and external vendors to support integrations and resolve complex issues.
- Support the daily operations of the HR Systems team inclusive of system maintenance, report requests, and end-user support
- Perform ongoing audits and maintenance of data feeds between HCM applications and other systems to ensure data is feeding as required.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, process maps, SOPs, and knowledge base articles for internal use.
- Identify and drive process automation and continuous improvement opportunities within HR operations through system capabilities.
- Support internal and external data audit requests in a timely & efficient manner.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, and/or equivalent, relevant work experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, including configuration, administration, and support across multiple modules (Recruitment, Core HR, Talent, Compensation).
- Deep experience with HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extracts, OTBI, and BI Publisher for complex reporting and data operations.
- Strong understanding of business processes across HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, and Compliance, with the ability to translate needs into technical solutions.
- Experience managing Oracle quarterly updates, regression testing, and change management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot functional and integration-related issues across systems.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, lead projects, and drive initiatives independently with minimal supervision.
- Highly organized, attention to detail, and excellent follow-through required.
