*role purpose*
- directly influencing the operational effectiveness of the functional/functional unit
- coordinating and managing projects. Typically, working on large, moderately complex projects/assignments
- management responsibility for a team, including people from scrum, objective setting and performance
- supporting decisions through advice, counsel or services in area of specialization
- being accountable for delivery against prescribed targets, budgets and resourcing and responsible for volume, quality, and timeliness of end results
- acting as initial point of escalation for team members
- adhering to and actively supporting established policies and procedures in own team
*main activities*
- to keep oversight on the risk management framework for all types of risk, defined for the wealth segment in hbmx.
- to manage that all stakeholders are aligned to such framework.
- to be the focal point between traditional lending portfolio managers for ensuring goals are achieved related to product design and risk appetite.
- to design and implement the information management related to the segment at customer and product linkage level, and maintain it through the production team in wealth & personal banking risk.
- to identify and escalate issues / concerns
- to follow up the implementation of risk processes in business unit
requirements
- desirable bachelor degree in risk management, applied mathematics, finance or economics, actuarial sciences, engineering, management or business administration.
- 3+ years of experience in credit risk or any other type of risk.
- areas of risk including provisioning, scoring, financial crime, markets.
- personal financial services and consumer finance.
- experience on financial measures and accountability.
- experience on leading projects and managing direct or functional teams.
- build connections, be externally focused, collaborate across boundaries
- document and compilation of the essential processes.
