Job description
daily cash management (cash pooling, account disposition)
including execution of payment transactions (both bulk and manual)
settlement of the intercompany netting process (netting of intercompany receivables and payables)
preparation of short-term liquidity planning
optimization and monitoring of liquidity at the subsidiary level
support of group treasury regarding local bank relationships, internal financing, liquidity management and projects
coordination with legal and tax department
close coordination with accounting department
communication with financial institutions (regarding cheques, credit cards, standby-lc and bank balances, amongst others)
trading of daily and term deposits
trading of currency transactions
support of month end closing procedures, forecast, budget, and other financial reporting requirements
proper determination/booking of interests & foreign exchange effects (derived from cash pooling, internal/external financing).
analysis of interest related to saving funds (“fondo de ahorro”) and pension plan investment.
saving funds and pension plan investment control & reconciliations

qualifications
bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field
professional experience in cash handling, bookkeeping or financial management role
in-depth special know-how regarding cash management, internal and external financing products
experience in a bank/company with comparable activities, in particular communication with banks and coordination with group treasury
fluent english skills in written and spoken
structured and very independent way of working, with very good communication and persuasive skills at the same time, openness to innovations/changes
very high willingness to take on responsibilities
ability to work in international team
