this position provides insight platform support to the solar turbines customer services organization, fleet managers & solar customers. Responsible for insight connect solutions and to ensure continuous connectivity to insight platform.
projects may include establishing and/or to maintaining and troubleshooting existing connectivity. Handling tickets and managing lifecycle campaigns.
job duties/responsibilities may include but not limited to:
• working closely with customers, and solar employees to troubleshoot insight connect network and/or other solar digital products.
• providing support & interfacing with internal and external customers to maintain service agreement deliverables for connected equipment.
• handling communication with fleet managers and customers regarding connectivity issues
• troubleshooting connectivity (and other) issues with or without supervision (depending on complexity).
• configuring, testing and troubleshooting different types of secure tunnels (ipsec, gre, wireguard) that meet defined requirements.
• troubleshooting various issues within industrial networks and plc solutions
• collaborating with a team of network & systems engineers to resolve networking issues
• occasional customer site visits to assess and/or deploy solar equipment on the field.
• analyzing and understanding network schema that document the complexity of delivered services.
• employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by solar digital management from time to time.
minimum qualifications:
• advanced oral and written communication skills in english.
• ability to understand technical concepts and solutions, mainly in networking.
• ability to learn new technologies, concepts, and processes.
• ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues and customers in resolving issues.
• ability to diagnose and troubleshoot production connectivity issues at least on basic level.
• accountability, planning/organization, and teamwork.
preferred quilifications:
• bachelor's degree or relevant experience in network & systems engineering.
• experience with configuring and maintaining network infrastructure.
• knowledge of cisco devices (mainly for routing and secure tunneling)
• knowledge of network tunneling ipsec, gre, wireguard, crypto map, etc.
• knowledge of linux operating system
• knowledge of iptables, tcpdump
• experience with firewall/appliance like palo alto, fortinet, checkpoint, cisco asa, …
• experience with plc
other valued qualifications:
• bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronical or mechanical engineering.
• ability and willingness to travel internationally.
• multiple language capability.

• ability to adapt quickly to a complex environment.
• pro-active thinking - being flexible and creative.
• self-motivated mentality - individual with passion in latest technology trends.
