responsibilities
- supervise transhipment activities, timely connection of cargo - supervise inter terminal transfers (itt) in all ports for transhipment cargo, ensure there are enough trucks, analyse itt average per month and costs involved - idle containers, reduce stay at port and costs of storages - analyse costs per unit assessment for port costs, stevedoring full and transhipment - follow up special cargo and requests from the line related to the port activity - keep gaia system updated with accurate terminal information (infrastructure, equipment, cranes, etc) - break bulk and oog projects quotation (terminals and surveyors), negotiate costs and coordinate the loading/discharge/inspection of cargo - pcr performance, ensure that all terminals provide load/discharge lists, tdr and husbandry reports before deadline to close pcr, monitor kpis from ssc to comply with ho requirements - prs performance, ensure operation team is updating arrival/departure/progress/draft/plan reports on time in prs, monitor kpis from ho to comply with requirements - standardization loading/discharge confirmation, monitor kpis from port teams to comply with ho requirements (reports sent +3 working hrs. After vessel departure) - vcr rfi – ensure documentation need it is sent on time for the payment to the vendor - ensures vessel attendance (husbandry) is provided as expected. - monitor terminals performance (terminals and cranes productivity) according to the contract - follow up the market, ports situation, partners, and competitors to identify potential opportunities and risks
qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role - proficiency with microsoft office - strong organizational and communication skills - strong ability to multitask - comfort working with multiple groups within business - english advanced
