*position overview*:
we are seeking a smart, innovative, and web-savvy *social media specialist* to join our growing team.
you will be the go-to expert for setting up and managing clients' social media profiles, local search listings, and complementary tools like online booking and review management.
your work will play a vital role in building a strong local presence for our clients and ensuring a world-class customer experience.
*key responsibilities*:
- guide clients through social media onboarding and training via phone and webinars.
- set up and manage client social media profiles (facebook, instagram, linkedin, twitter, etc.)
and local search listings.
- write and schedule engaging social media content for client pages.
- monitor trends and best practices across social media platforms and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- research platform updates and collaborate with internal teams to ensure deliverables meet current standards.
- evaluate the effectiveness of social media programs using appropriate metrics.
- troubleshoot and resolve client issues, translating technical concepts into easy-to-understand language.
- maintain and create documentation and internal knowledge base resources.
- support additional marketing product setup and optimization as needed.
*what we're looking for*:
- strong computer skills and understanding of web-based technologies.
- expertise in social media platforms and tools including facebook business manager, instagram, twitter, linkedin, pinterest, google business profile, and social media management platforms like hootsuite or soci.
- exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- customer-focused attitude with strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
- self-starter with strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
