qualifications
bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations management, or a related field.
Master’s degree (preferred) in business administration (mba), engineering management, or data science.
Fully bilingual (spanish/english)
lean & operational excellence
8+ years of progressive responsibilities in operations leadership.
Experience in multiple plant environments and skill areas (production, engineering, quality, mp&l).
Deep knowledge of:
value stream mapping (vsm)
kaizen, 5s, smed, tpm
standard work and visual management
problem solving methodologies (root cause analysis rca, 8d, 5w2w, etc.)
Expertise in executing shingijutsu and strategy deployment events.
Lean six sigma certification (black belt preferred).
Production operating systems
at least 3 years of direct experience in a production environment (line supervisor, team manager, area manager).
Experience designing or deploying production systems (e.g., ford production system, toyota production system, danaher business system).
Familiarity with hoshin kanri, daily management systems, and tiered accountability.
Innovation, data analytics & digital tools
experience leading innovation programs (e.g., design thinking, open innovation, digital transformation).
Familiarity with
industry 4.0 technologies (iot, ai/ml, mes systems)
data analysis tools: excel, power bi, tableau.
Programming (preferred): python, r, sql.
Statistical analysis and predictive modeling.

Responsibilities
lead lean transformation processes and ford production system (fps) in the plant, including sqdcpme operating systems, innovation system, daily management, strategy execution, and co-championing of l&d systems focused on tech and skills.
Manage the manufacturing engineering team responsible for industrial engineering processes such as line rebalancing, labor efficiencies, tooling, and change management.
Oversee plant engineering and it teams, ensuring software and hardware support production and manufacturing operations; maintain building and facilities to guarantee plant operations.
Collaborate with ford land local and corporate teams to develop, fund, and implement projects for refurbishing, modernizing, and improving plant facilities, employee experience, and wellness.
