Key responsibilities project leadership & execution • plan, manage, and deliver d&d projects using structured project management methodologies. • define project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, and success metrics. • develop and maintain detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource plans. • facilitate cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, quality, regulatory, finances and operations teams. Technical & innovation management • translate product requirements and market insights into technical project plans. • support ideation, feasibility analysis, prototyping, and early-stage testing. • coordinate design reviews, risk assessments, and verification/validation activities. • evaluate technical challenges and propose solutions to ensure project progress. Stakeholder communication • provide clear, concise project updates to leadership and key stakeholders. • organize and lead project meetings, documenting decisions, actions, and follow-ups. • collaborate with customers, external partners, suppliers as needed. Risk, compliance & quality • identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies proactively. • ensure alignment with regulatory, quality, and compliance requirements. • support preparation of documentation for design controls, audits, and product approvals. Process improvement • contribute to the development and refinement of r&d processes, tools, and best practices. • support continuous improvement initiatives in innovation, development, and commercialization workflows. Qualifications required • bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related technical field. • 3 years of experience managing npi, product development, or technical projects. • strong understanding of engineering/r&d processes, lifecycle development, and design methodologies. • demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams. • excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. • proficiency with project management tools (e.g., ms project, monday, jira, smartsheet). Bilingual english/spanish preferred • master’s degree or mba. • experience in regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, aerospace). • knowledge of design controls, risk management (fmea), and quality systems. • pmp, agile, or lean certification.
