R&D;/Industrialization
- To Become expert of Software/Hardware related with Failure Analysis of Electronic Control Units from SMT & Electrical Testing throughout the production lines of responsibility, making sure our products fulfill technical specification required by our customers via Testing programs and specific Hardware.
- Provide Feedback to Process experts regarding real and false failures in order to improve Process Performance.
Quality
- To assure the specification regarding product characteristics are fulfilled via Detailed and specialized failure anallysis at the line.
- Support the preparation of PFMEA and Control Plans.
- Define appropriate training needs for his team regarding the equipment/processes in his responsibility.
- Support Quality Area for solving problems related with Customers rejects.
- Expertice in Quality procedures for Release/Maintain/Optimize equipment/processes in his responsability
- Participation in the problem solving methodology, as well as in the definition and implementation of corrective and preventive actions applicable to their activities.
- Jidoka escalation in case of actual quality related problems along samples production or serial production
- Participate actively in Local Teams as required and applicable.
- To keep the latest version of Failure Analysis Technology in use.
- To support internal and external Audits.
- To Analyze non-conformal ECU´s and report supplier/processes failures to Production (Start JIDOKA events)
- To keep the Analysis and Repair Inventory under control.
New Projects
- Ensure the availability of Failure Analysis software/hardware for the execution of Tests in ECUs (PV, PPAPS, PA, etc.)
- Support APQP in activities required for customer approval.
Industrial Engineering
- Ensure the availability of the equipment:
- Define, Plan, Coordinate and support the preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Ensure the availability of spare parts needed for the preventive maintenance and the spare parts kits suggested by the suppliers for the corrective maintenance.
- Support the troubleshooting and coordinate the corrective maintenance.
- Execute the corrective maintenance if it is required to reestablish the equipment to serial production in the shortest possible time.
ESH & ESD Control
- To ensure that equipment suppliers fulfill Continental ESH requirements in Pre-acceptances and Final acceptances of equipment within responsibility.
- To Support other areas in ESH procedures where they have influence.
- To ensure that your team know, understand, and follow ESH policies.
- To support analysis referent to continuous improvement of ESH procedures
- To ensure that equipment suppliers fufill Continental ESD requirements in Pre-acceptances and Final acceptances of equipment
- To Support other areas in ESD procedures where they have influence.
- To ensure that your team know, understand, and follow ESD policies.
- To support analysis referent to continuous improvement of ESD procedures
Production
- To support FPY or FTP targets achievement
- To assure the Cycle Time targets in serial production
- To assure the Scrap target
- To support the Production target [ ECU´s/Hr ] defined
- To report failures from non-conformal ECU´s in timely manner and with appropriate means according to established criteria
**Profile**:
- Bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering
- English (Intermediate, able to communicate)
- Knowledge in Electricity, Electronics & Digital Electronics
- Knowledge in Electronics parts assembly processes
- Experience in machines/troubles diagnostics
- Problem Solving methods, SPC, MSA,
- IPC A610
- Programming C, C++
Desirable
- Basics Statistics
- People management experience
