Strategic capex finance executivelead the corporate cap ex process operations, ensuring timely, reliable, and policy-compliant transactional execution while driving continuous improvement, automation, and regional standardization of the process.this role acts as the operational owner of the cap ex process, evolving the model from a reactive, transactional approach into one that is analytical, proactive, and value-driven for the business.key responsibilities1. Country support & service (operational pillar)ensure accurate execution of cap ex transactions for assigned countries in compliance with policies, guidelines, and internal controls.act as an escalation point for complex cases, exceptions, and non-standard process situations.ensure data quality, traceability, and consistency across cap ex systems (sap, service now, or others).2. Continuous improvement & automation (transformation pillar)identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate the cap ex process.lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing cycle times, errors, and rework.coordinate with it, corporate finance, and country teams to enhance tools, workflows, and controls.3. Team development & capability building (people pillar)develop the team to transition from transactional execution to analytical, business-oriented support.ensure proper documentation, standardization, and effective knowledge transfer of processes.coordinate workloads, priorities, and specialization within the team.4. Analysis & executive reportingconsolidate and analyze monthly cap ex execution results at country and regional levels.prepare executive-level presentations for leadership forums and finance committees.identify variances, operational risks, and improvement opportunities, generating actionable recommendations.elevate operational insights into strategic conversations on efficiency, governance, and cap ex maturity.core activitiesmanage complex cap ex transactions (creation, modifications, blocks, budgets, transfers, ip/bp/savings projects).perform monthly reconciliations and ensure data quality for closing and audit purposes.prepare reports and variance analyses versus budget.govern the process: approval workflows, roles, sox controls, and audit support.map end-to-end processes and lead automation initiatives.support the team in financial analysis and business understanding.required profileeducationbachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, finance, or related field.experience5+ years of experience in finance, cap ex, fp&a, or financial processes.experience leading processes, continuous improvement initiatives, or coordinating teams (highly desirable).hands-on experience managing cap ex and budgets.technical skillssap (ps / co / aa – preferred)workflow tools (service now or similar)process improvement and automationadvanced excel (macros / vba)python and advanced analytics (desirable)diversity, equity & inclusion statement
