Position overviewthe principal activities of a finance plant controller typically revolve around overseeing and managing the financial operations within a manufacturing plant or facility.what you'll doprepare month end close financial deck and present it to the controller and plant manager.present results and variance explanations to executive management in a clear concise manner to deliver relevant, accurate and timely insights.implement and maintain cost accounting systems to accurately track and allocate manufacturing costs.monitor inventory levels and valuation, ensuring accuracy of inventory records, and analyzing inventory turnover and obsolescence.lead the monterrey plant annual budget and periodic forecasts, including driving core assumptions, insights, analytics and financial models.supervise a team of 2 finance analysts to support general finance & accounting functions.monitor and track capex budget, spending and requests for monterrey plant and vertex project.drive the monthly internal management reporting process, variance analysis and presentation materials; provide clear insightful analytics to drive business decisions and transparency.all other duties as assigned.who you arefinance leader with a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and 7+ years of progressive experience with a proven track record.demonstrated results in improving processes and developing financial analysis providing business insight that is timely, relevant, and accurate.ability to go beyond the numbers to discern meaningful insights and identify the business implications.highly proficient communication and presentation skills both oral and written.strong technical aptitude: advanced skills and knowledge of microsoft including excel and powerpoint; experienced with sap and financial consolidation tools such as hfm.collaborative leadership style: ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and influence key stakeholders.what's in it for you?
