key account manager
objective:
maintain and grow the current customer base. Prospect new potential customers and provide support to achieve sales growth in markets such as automotive, appliances, medical, electrical-electronic, and others.
main activities:
• prospect new potential customers in current and new markets
• update and maintain business-related information in the company's it tools
• provide sales reports by volume, revenue, and margin
• contribute to the preparation of the budget for the assigned territory
• provide useful market information for decision-making
• field visits to customers, prospects, and distribution channels
• feed customer consumption forecast information
• request support from other areas of the company for the accompaniment and advancement of projects and business opportunities, as well as quality-related issues.
education:
degree in chemistry, mechanics, industrial, or materials engineering.
job requirements:
minimum of 6 to 10 years of commercial experience in the engineering thermoplastics industry and proven track of successful performance at established customer network nationwide at oem, tiers, and distribution channels at different industrial sectors.
experience and skills:
* account management, customer prospecting, preparing quotes and value propositions, consumption/demand planning, and annual territory budgets.
* microsoft office, salesforce, sap (is preferred)
competencies:
negotiation, teamwork, results-oriented, self-driven, proactive, assertive communication, planning, and organizing, targeting sales opportunities.
language requirement:
spanish (advanced or native) and english (intermediate as a minimum, advanced is preferred)
other requirements: willingness to travel 50 to 70% of the time.
