Overview
we are seeking a graphic design intern/junior graphic designer (practicante de diseño gráfico) to support the visual communications team at multiple offices across monterrey. Candidates will assist in the creation and production of digital and print materials, social media graphics, presentations, and other visual assets in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment. The role is open to both full‑time and part‑time interns and offers on‑the‑job training, mentorship, and a professional development plan.
responsibilities
* create and edit visual content for social media platforms, presentations, and marketing collateral.
* support senior designers in developing graphics for digital campaigns, motion graphics, video editing, and print publications.
* apply creative concepts to concepts, color series, layouts, and typography; ensure brand consistency.
* produce images, illustrations, and infographics within established timelines.
* assist with photo and video editing using tools such as photoshop, illustrator, premiere pro, or canva.
* collaborate with marketing, events, and communication teams to plan and execute visual assets for events and internal communications.
* maintain and update design files in shared cloud platforms (creative cloud, google drive).
qualifications
* student or recent graduate in graphic design, communication, marketing, or related field (6‑8 semesters or more).
* hands‑on experience with adobe creative cloud (photoshop, illustrator, indesign, lightroom, after effects, premiere pro).
* basic to intermediate knowledge of motion‑graphics, video editing, and social‑media management (community manager).
* proficiency with canva or other design tools for quick deliverables.
* strong eye for detail, typography, color coordination, and layout design.
* proactive, collaborative, and able to receive and implement feedback.
* availability: 25–30 hours per week, flexible schedule, willingness to attend occasional in‑office meetings.
experience & skills
* experience in producing assets for instagram, facebook, linkedin, and print media (flyers, brochures, portfolios, annual reports).
* knowledge in motion graphics, simple video editing (cap cut, premiere).
* comfort with cloud platforms (creative cloud, google drive, dropbox).
* familiarity with basic marketing concepts such as audience segmentation, brand strategy, and event planning.
compensation & benefits
* salary range: $4,000 – $7,000 mxn per month (typical range varies by semester level, skill, and role type).
* monthly stipend or scholarship support ($5,000 – $6,000 mxn) available for selected interns.

working hours & schedule
* full‑time internally: 8 hours per day; flexible within 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (or 4 hrs on thursday?), 5 days a week.
* part‑time options: 25–30 hours per week; can be allocated across monday–friday from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, or rotating schedule (rotativo).
* hybrid model: remote work with scheduled in‑office sessions (1–2 times per week).
location
* hybrid location: monterrey – norte; specific address: torre evalor, calle jardín de san jerónimo 109, n. L., or equivalent office spaces.
* remote/hybrid arrangement accepted for selected candidates who live within 15 km of office.
