key responsibilities
sales & business development support
· provide day-to-day assistance to the sales team in managing client portfolios across mexico.
· actively support business development initiatives by preparing presentations, proposals, and promotional materials.
· track ongoing sales opportunities, maintain pipelines, and ensure timely updates to sales reports and forecasts.
· coordinate closely with distributors, dealers, and direct clients to monitor demand, market conditions, and competitor activities.
· participate in client meetings and business trips, ensuring agendas, documentation, and follow-up actions are well managed.
customer & dealer relationship management
· serve as a primary contact for local dealers and customers for routine inquiries, order follow-ups, and after-sales coordination.
· manage customer communications in spanish and english, ensuring accurate translation and clear understanding of requirements. (chinese language desired)
· assist in resolving customer complaints, claims, and disputes, escalating issues to managers when needed.
· support collection activities by following up on outstanding payments and coordinating with finance when necessary.
documentation & contract administration
· draft, review, and manage sales-related documents such as quotations, purchase orders, contracts, shipping lists, and invoices.
· maintain accurate records in both digital and physical formats, ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements.
· assist in customs documentation, import/export paperwork, and logistics arrangements for shipments from headquarters.
· track contract status, renewal dates, and client commitments to ensure compliance.
market research & analysis
· conduct ongoing research on industry trends, competitor activities, pricing benchmarks, and customer behaviors in mexico.
· prepare market analysis reports for management, highlighting opportunities and risks.
· collect customer feedback and translate it into actionable insights for headquarters and the regional sales manager.
operational & event support
· plan and coordinate company participation in trade fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events.
· handle event logistics, including booth setup, promotional materials, and customer invitations.
· support travel arrangements, meeting schedules, and itineraries for visiting headquarters staff or clients.
internal coordination
· act as a liaison between the monterrey office, mexican partners, and the headquarters team in china.
· ensure smooth communication flow across time zones and languages.
· assist with preparing weekly reports, dashboards, and updates for headquarters and management.
· support ad-hoc administrative and project-related tasks as requested by managers.
qualifications
· native-level fluency in spanish, professional fluency in english and/orchinese a plus.
· 1–3 years' experience in sales support, administration, or business assistance, preferably in an international or machinery industry environment.
· strong organizational skills with proficiency in office software and database/crm tools.
· excellent interpersonal skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
· willingness to travel frequently within mexico and occasionally abroad.
