What role will you play as a member of the colgates information technology : financial planning and analytics team?
In this role you will be collaborating with global finance business, git teams and business partners to design, develop, implement and maintain our planning and analytical solutions.
What you will do
:support finance planning activities globally
:support global analytics initiatives
:work closely with cross functional git and business teams
:analyze, research and resolve requests submitted by the business, using existing technologies and ensuring the solution is aligned with divisional goals and git strategies
:refining assets based on feedback, ensuring their continuity of accuracy and functionality
:building data pipelines using datasets from different sources
:support analytics backend activities for finance initiatives
:adapt user experience design concepts to create visualizations that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users
:stay updated with the latest technological advancement. Adapt to these changes by self:training and research work and evaluate how / where it can add value to the business
:effectively communicate project and work related information to the team
:ensure compliance of git governance practices
required qualifications
:bachelors degree in information technology or engineering
:minimum 5 years of experience in an it role
:effective operational proficiency / highly proficient in spoken and written english
:strong proficiency in sac planning
:minimum of 2:3 full lifecycle implementations of sap analytics cloud (sac) or significant equivalent project experience
:experience with generic programming languages: example sql, java, python, reactjs
:knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles
:strong oral and written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms
:able to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations, individuals, and technologies
:ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically
preferred qualifications
:at least 1 year in finance planning experience
:experience of working with cloud data warehousing / big data environments like snowflake, bigquery, google cloud storage is a plus
:experience in different visualization tools such as sigma, domo, power bi, data studio etc.
:working sql knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (sql) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
:experience with data flow, data pipeline and workflow management tools: airflow, github, luigi etc.
:experience in creating stories, data actions needed for planning on sap analytics cloud.
:should have experience on importing and exporting data in and out of sac.
:also experience with javascript needed for customization of the stories on sap analytics cloud.
