*about the role*
we are looking for an experienced *quality assurance manager* to lead and drive quality excellence across our manufacturing operations. This strategic leadership role is responsible for ensuring product integrity, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced automotive environment.
*key responsibilities*
- lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of plant-wide quality assurance systems.
- ensure full compliance with *iatf 16949*, *iso 9001*, and customer-specific automotive standards.
- direct internal, external, and customer audits while ensuring successful compliance outcomes.
- monitor and drive performance through key quality metrics (kpis), including defect rates, customer claims, and process capability.
- lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive action initiatives using methodologies such as *8d, pdca, ishikawa, and 5 why’s*.
- manage cross-functional quality teams to achieve operational and customer quality objectives.
- develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, improving efficiency, and strengthening quality culture.
- oversee supplier quality performance to ensure consistency and compliance across the supply chain.
- champion employee development through quality training, policy implementation, and best practice standardization.
- serve as the primary quality liaison for customers, ensuring strong relationships and effective issue resolution.
*education*
- bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, quality engineering, or related field.
- master’s degree is a plus.
*experience*
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in quality within automotive or advanced manufacturing industries.
- proven experience with quality management systems, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- strong background managing oem and tier 1 customer requirements.
