Job Summary:
The Mobile Software Engineer will join our team at SRS Distribution, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Home Depot, experienced in Mobile eCommerce Development to cotribute in building cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI. The ideal candidate will have experience developing mobile apps for iOS and Android, integrating with eCommerce platforms, and leveraging cloud services on Microsoft Azure. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, including Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT, is highly desirable. Experience with React Native is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI.
- Integrate mobile apps with backend services, APIs, and eCommerce platforms.
- Implement responsive and intuitive UI/UX for both Android and iOS.
- Use Azure services (e.g., App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Notification Hubs) for cloud integration.
- Leverage AI development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate development and improve code quality.
- Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and QA teams to deliver seamless mobile experiences.
- Ensure performance, security, and scalability of mobile applications.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Stay up to date with mobile development trends and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mobile application development.
- Proficiency in .NET MAUI, C#, and XAML.
- Experience building and deploying apps for both iOS and Android.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and mobile backend integration.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC).
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mobile eCommerce features such as payments, product catalogs, and push notifications.
- Hands-on experience with React Native for mobile development a plus. (possible migration)
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, App Center, or other mobile CI/CD tools.
- Understanding mobile security best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
