we are seeking a highly skilled business analyst to join our team at capgemini and provide solutions to a top ten insurance carrier.
our client, a prominent insurance carrier, is a leader in the industry with a widespread national presence. They offer a comprehensive range of insurance products and services to customers across the united states, committed to innovation and excellence in delivering customer-centric solutions.
business analyst ii will support all of enterprise marketing as a floating resource based on the organization's needs. They will assist with model building and business case development to support strategic, marketing, and customer experience recommendations. The ideal candidate will have experience with microsoft excel, powerbi, and similar data analytics tools, and be able to turn data modeling into a narrative to aid business decision-making.
serves as a liaison between business and it to address business needs; understands customer objectives, processes, products, and system capabilities; supports users in building business cases, including cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, and project scope; performs impact analysis and supports effort/cost estimation; develops and documents functional specifications; supports testing, implementation, and training activities.
requirements
* english proficiency
* insurance or financial experience is a plus
* bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
* experience with impact analysis of application changes and end-to-end system view
* experience defining project scope, developing functional specifications, and preparing system design documents
* knowledge of building business cases, including cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and high-level planning
* data modeling and forecasting skills
* reporting management and scorecard creation
* data interpretation skills
* proficiency in office suite and powerbi
* general knowledge of snowflake
* sql skills are a plus
