Position overview
this position manages the 2nd shift resources targeting the production plan that supports our customers’ demand. It oversees all aspects of the business, including production and supporting functions such as hr, quality, materials, maintenance, security, and engineering. The main objective is to drive results efficiently and with a high level of quality.
responsibilities
* know the production requirements and achieve them with the required levels of quality, efficiency, and time.
* achieve planned productivity rates.
* monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
* provide 2nd shift leadership to get results, applying 5s+1, one-pc flow, kanban, security, continuous improvement, and quality principles.
* supervise personnel to maintain a good working environment and safety.
* maintain the machinery and equipment in good condition.
* provide support to departments that require it, such as materials, quality, finance, engineering, hr, etc.
* ensure all staff are trained and certified in their own operation and in subsequent operations (one up, one down).
* comply with best practices in ehs, iso 9015, material handling, and employee retention.
* control measurable kpis and manage scrap.

qualifications
* completed degree in engineering or related field.
* experience in a similar position for at least 5 years.
* effective leadership skills.

* self‑directed and proactive attitude.
* knowledge of lean manufacturing practices.
* knowledge of the english language.
