this role involves providing administrative and commercial support to sales executives, enabling them to work efficiently with clients. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, efficient, and possess excellent communication skills.
* support internal and external sales teams in client management.
* communicate service issues to the relevant teams for resolution.
* enter contract lines and tenders into the system.
* negotiate and enter conditions of days off for clients.
* apply for and enter tli's into the system.
* create partner codes and register new accounts.
* resolve disputes and request discounts from finances.
* develop assigned portfolios through commercial management strategies.
* plan and follow-up on calls with clients.
* promote non-maritime services to assigned portfolio clients.
* attend training sessions and webinars.
* participate in market rate information exchange with trade areas.
* centralize and escalate price-related topics to team leaders.
* follow up on booking issues related to routes or freight.
* be aware of vessel capacity, service rotation, and general route information.
* identify duplicate codes in customer systems and elevate them.
* inform relevant parties when a client accepts a proposal or contract.
* request exceptions for delays and detentions in the system.
* promote the use of my prices.
