you will be part of the optics capability division within osbu, at a facility recognized for its technical excellence and forward-thinking culture. Our team is made up of multidisciplinary engineers and technicians, working collaboratively to deliver innovative solutions and support mission-critical manufacturing operations.
what you will do
* champion key performance indicators (kpis) by leading operating meetings focused on equipment downtime, mean time to repair (mttr), mean time between failures (mtbf), and safety.
* drive cost-reduction initiatives through inventory optimization, strategic budgeting, and resource management.
* lead projects to enhance equipment efficiency, reliability, and technical capabilities across the facility.
* develop and mentor engineers through recruitment, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
* oversee the planning, validation, and commissioning of electrical installations, ensuring full compliance with safety and operational standards.
who you are (basic qualifications)
* bachelor's degree in engineering.
* english proficiency at a conversational level.
* demonstrated expertise in industrial automation systems, maintenance methodologies, and equipment reliability.
* strong skills in problem resolution using tools such as 8d, pdca, and 5w.
