Customs declarations analyst job description:
key responsibilities:
* prepare and collect information for filing i/e declarations across the region.
* collaborate with customs broker procurement team to commission customs brokers and ensure regional service needs are met.
* support implementation and execution of standard operating procedures (sops) for customs brokers, ensuring consistent and accurate declarations across the region.
this position will also support the review of completed customs documents submitted by brokers to verify their accuracy against company data, including hs tariff codes, special programs, free trade agreements, and free trade zone benefits applicable to each transaction.
the ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in international trade, customs management, and 2-4 years' experience in a similar role.
