*what you’ll do?*
- work developing data products to support metal mining sites with data related to productivity and performance for metals at a natural resources client. We're looking for a proven, experienced senior data engineer who is able to design, build and deploy solutions. Primary skills are databricks (azure), python and sql, but a good understanding of azure data services in general is an asset.
*what you’ll bring*:
- maintain existing and build new etl/elt pipelines on azure databricks
- build, design and model data objects in databricks
- proficient in dimensional modeling
- learns the business rules and why they matter, understands the needs of the business
- support python-based data integrations
- write and maintain data transformations with dbt
- work closely with business teams to empower them with the right data
- collaborate with devops team on the cicd deployment of the ddl and dml code bases across multiple environments
- clear communicator
- willing to work on pst timezone
