The General/Plant Manager will report to Executive Vice President, Global Operations. Current reports to the Plant Manager include Director, Engineering, Supply Chain Manager, Production Manager, Business Unit Manager, Maintenance Supervisor and Customer Care Manager. The population at the plant includes those who report directly into Operations and those who report functionally. The General/Plant Manager has responsibility to drive continuous and significant improvements in safety, quality, delivery and cost by developing an excellent organization, and methodically & aggressively implementing a lean operating methodology based on Lean techniques and tools.
Educational/Training Requirement
* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field, is required. MBA is preferred
Experience
* 15+ years manufacturing operations leadership experience with a demonstrated track record of significant performance improvement through the successful development of a lean culture, and implementation of the tools as well as a developer of people and teams.
