responsibilities
* control inventory of raw materials and finished goods, maintaining high reliability against the inventory system.
* provide the necessary materials to meet the production schedule in both time and quantity.
* ensure a leveled production schedule that meets customer requirements and allows efficient plant operation.
* ensure that the mps load aligns with customer release analysis for raw material purchasing.
* follow up on engineering changes and model year transitions to protect both customers and the plant, minimizing premium freight and obsolescence impact.
* define the weekly production plan together with the management staff (siop meetings).
* measure adherence to production schedules and establish corrective actions jointly with manufacturing if targets are not met.
* coordinate semiannual physical inventories.
* ensure compliance with material processes according to company policies.
* monitor parameters such as inventory value, atr, premium freight, e&o, delivery rating, and downtime, and establish corrective and improvement actions.
* ensure inventory availability through material follow-up with suppliers.
* ensuring timely and accurate material supply to assembly lines.
to be successful in this role you must have
* education: bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business management, international trade, or any related field.
* 3+ years of experience in warehouse management.
* experience in automotive industry (a plus in wire harness industry).
* knowledge in inventory management, logistics and customer service.
* advanced english level (bilingual).
* availability to travel.
