at immunotec, we seek passionate, detail-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are driven to ensure operational excellence.role objectivecoordinate and execute payroll and hr operational processes, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll administration across mexico while supporting payroll activities in the united states and canadathis role is responsible for payroll validation, vendor coordination, employee administration, benefits support, and hr operations, partnering closely with finance and external providers to ensure compliance, data accuracy, and an excellent employee experience.key responsibilitiespayroll & hr operationscoordinate end-to-end payroll processes for mexico and support payroll activities for the united states and canada.partner with external payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.review and validate payroll calculations, including taxes, deductions, benefits, and statutory payments.perform payroll reconciliations and variance analysis before payroll approval.validate and coordinate imss, infonavit, fonacot, isr, and payroll tax processes.support payroll accounting activities, provisions, accruals, and payroll-related reporting.coordinate employee lifecycle administration, including hires, terminations, promotions, salary changes, and employee records.maintain personnel files and ensure compliance with labor and internal documentation requirements.support benefits administration and vendor coordination.generate hr and payroll reports, headcount reports, workforce cost analysis, and operational metrics.collaborate with hr, finance, and external vendors to continuously improve payroll and hr processes.hr data & reportingensure accuracy and integrity of employee data across systemsmaintain proper employee documentation and recordssupport hr reporting needs and basic analytics (headcount, attrition, workforce cost)collaborate with hr and finance teams to improve data quality and processesrequirementseducationbachelor's degree in accounting, finance, administration or related fieldexperience4–7 years of experience in payroll administration and hr operations.strong hands-on experience processing payroll in mexico.experience validating payroll calculations, taxes, social security, and statutory obligations.experience working with external payroll providers (adp, tmf, deloitte, etc.).
ability to understand and perform payroll calculations manually when required.experience managing employee administration processes (hires, terminations, employee changes, personnel files, benefits administration).
exposure to us and/or canada payroll processes is highly desirable.experience working in multinational or regional organizations is preferred.knowledge & skillsstrong knowledge of mexican payroll processes (imss, isr, sua, etc.)general understanding of us and canada payroll frameworkssolid understanding of payroll accounting and reconciliationadvanced excel skills (data validation, analysis, reporting)experience with payroll systems and hris (adp, workday, ukg, etc. preferred)competencieshigh attention to detail and accuracystrong ownership and accountability mindsetability to manage multiple payroll cycles and deadlinesstrong problem-solving and analytical skillseffective communication with cross-functional teams and vendorsability to work under pressure in a multi-country environment
