she regional manager position based at factory purina silao, nestlé purina. The role requires extensive experience in safety across project management, with advanced english and relevant safety qualifications. The objective is to promote and ensure excellence in safety management throughout the project life cycle and to act as an ambassador of safety during all phases of execution.
responsibilities
* develop and communicate the project safety management plan and ensure its effective implementation; support the development of the project safety strategy.
* monitor project standards and kpis, recognize good performance, address poor performance, and manage effective action plans.
* proactively communicate with project teams, authorities, and nestlé management; promote safety culture and compliance fulfillment.
* ensure compliance with local safety legislation and nestlé safety standards across all project stages (refinement to delivery), including design-for-construction and contractor selection/management.
* assist project teams in developing the safety management plan; ensure it includes risk management procedures for orientation/training, risk assessment, method statements, lifting plans, permit-to-work, and emergency planning; update plans as risk changes.
* implement site risk management procedures; establish safe working practices focusing on high-frequency risks and high-hazard tasks (e.g., slips/trips, falls, work at height, critical lifting, hot work); manage the five safety-in-project risk activities.
* develop and provide training and coaching to managers and team leaders on risk management, legislation, and duties; provide personal coaching to the local project management team.

* knowledge: bachelor degree in engineering science and master in occupational safety; knowledge of international safety legislation relevant to project and construction; professional knowledge of construction safety and high-hazard task management in projects and construction.
* languages: good working proficiency in english and local languages (written & spoken).
