*the opportunity*
join us as the *cvrm & r&i director, latam (level g)* to lead the *regional commercial strategy and execution* for a high-impact portfolio, including emerging indications in attr and adjacent cvrm/r&i assets. You will translate *global strategy into local impact*, drive *launch excellence*, shape *market access pathways*, and enable *sustainable growth* across mexico, brazil, and selected latam markets that integrate our clsuters. Andean, camcar and southcone.
*what you’ll do*
- *brand strategy & planning*: localize global strategies into *regional brand plans* and *long-range plans*, covering lifecycle management, competitive response, and evidence needs. Lead annual planning, forecasting, and *quarterly business review* inputs for latam.
- *launch excellence & execution*: orchestrate cross-functional *launch teams* (marketing, medical, market access, regulatory, supply, compliance) to deliver *pre-launch, launch, and post-launch* milestones. Conduct *country launch readiness* assessments and close capability gaps.
- *insights & medical collaboration*: develop *deep customer and market insights* across cardiology, neurology, nephrology, and immunology settings. Partner with *medical affairs* on data generation, publications, and scientific exchange aligned to regional needs and *guideline inclusion*.
- *access, pricing & policy*: support country *pricing and reimbursement* strategies and dossiers. Partner with *heor, policy, and government affairs* to navigate national and sub-national systems; engage payers, patient associations, and societies to enable *timely access*.
- *financial performance & governance*: own regional *forecasts and budgets* for assigned brands; optimize *resource allocation* across markets. Ensure *compliance* with az policies and uphold ethical standards; deliver *executive updates* for latam leadership.
- *partnership management*: collaborate with *alliance partners* to align responsibilities, manage risks, and achieve joint objectives as an *az ambassador*.
- *team leadership & capability building*: lead, influence and develop a *diverse regional team*. Build capabilities in disease marketing, diagnostic engagement, and *omnichannel excellence* within a *test-and-learn* culture. Foster best practice sharing and team development across latam.
*qualifications*
- *education*: bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or related field; *mba or relevant master’s* preferred.
- *requirements*:
- *7-10 years* in the pharmaceutical industry with *country or regional* roles.
- proven success in *specialty care*; *cvrm*and/or *r&i* experience strongly preferred.
- track record in *brand strategy, launches, and performance management* in latin america.
- solid understanding of *latam market access, pricing, and reimbursement*.
- experience using *clinical and real-world data* to shape brand plans and lifecycle decisions.
- comfortable in a *matrix environment* with strong external stakeholder influence.
- *languages*: fluency in *spanish* or *portuguese* plus *english* required
- *right to work*: must have, or be able to obtain, authorization to work in *mexico/ brazil / argentina*
