What You'll Bring:
5 years+ of experience as a Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role with
a strong focus on automation, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD.
5 years+ of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred. You should be comfortable
provisioning and managing various GCP services.
6 years+ of experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern tools. Experience with
Google Cloud Build
is required.
5 years+ of experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, particularly Terraform.
4 years+ of experience with Git and platforms like GitHub.
5 years+ of experience with scripting skills (., Python, Go, Bash) to automate tasks and build tools.
6 years+ of experience setting up and working with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (., Grafana, Dynatrace).
6 years+ of experience with problem-solving and debugging skills across complex distributed systems.
The ability to diagnose issues independently or guide others through troubleshooting is key.
Communication:
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues (including your internal customers!).
4 years+ of experience with security principles and how to integrate security practices into the development and operations workflows.
Bonus Points For:
Familiarity with security scanning tools and practices (SAST, DAST, SCA).
Experience supporting internal users or customers on technical platforms.
Certifications in GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, security.
Experience with chaotic engineering or disaster recovery planning.
Container Orchestration: Experience working with containerization and orchestration platforms, specifically OpenShift. Kubernetes experience is also highly valuable.
