manufacturing engineer i
📍location: amexhe, guanajuato
role objective
plan, define, and improve manufacturing processes and production sequences for electronic manufacturing, ensuring efficiency, robustness, compliance with quality standards, and readiness for serial production.
key responsibilities
* support the development and implementation of manufacturing methods for new and existing production processes.
* plan and specify manufacturing sequences, work cycles, capacities, and required production equipment.
* define and document process flows, operating instructions, and related production documentation.
* support the procurement or internal manufacturing of operating and testing equipment.
* participate in risk analysis using process fmea and implement improvement actions.
* prepare, update, and manage production and quality documentation.
* support pre‑series and series audits in manufacturing and quality.
* plan and coordinate the preparation and validation of initial samples.
* support change management activities (process changes, feasibility analysis, costing, timing).
* apply basic lean manufacturing / oee concepts to improve efficiency.
* use basic knowledge of smt processes (ekra printing, pick & place, aoi, ict, eol) to support and document production processes.
* interpret basic technical drawings.
* ensure compliance with industrial safety and environmental regulations.
your qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, mechatronics, or related fields.
* 2–3 years of previous experience in manufacturing or process engineering (electronics / smt environments).
* basic knowledge of smt processes.
* basic understanding of oee and/or lean manufacturing.
* proficiency with microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook).
* basic interpretation of technical drawings.
