Business development representative
we're looking for a talented business development representative to join our team. As a business development representative, you will be responsible for meeting with prospective guests/owners, touring them through our properties, and presenting them with opportunities to purchase vacation experiences or enhance their portfolios.
* your key responsibilities will include:
* maintaining a professional image that upholds the highest standards of integrity, quality, and service to customers.
* preparing daily to meet guests/owners as a professional representative through proper dress code and grooming.
* adhering to standard work hours and greeting each guest/owner in a warm and friendly manner.
* using approved presentation and support materials effectively and exclusively.
* achieving individual performance guidelines within established time frames.
* contributing to achieving overall site visitor growth, closing percentage at desired levels.
* providing exceptional customer service to guests/owners as specified in training and direction of management.
* maintaining the highest level of product knowledge by attending required training sessions.
* discussing terms and conditions, incentives, points, and product pricing with customers after reviewing strategy with management.
* effectively gaining commitment from guests/owners to purchase.
* completing demo and assessment rides with team leaders & sales managers for coaching and motivation.
* modeling and reinforcing effective sales and customer service practices.
requirements:
* high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
* proficiency in english and spanish is required.
* sales/marketing or tourism career background is preferred.
* proficiency in computers – software knowledge and skills in microsoft office applications (word, excel, powerpoint) are essential.
* exceptional customer service orientation, positive disposition, excellent verbal/written skills, and work standards, multitasking, follow-up, building business partnerships, attention to details, thriving on ambiguity, openness to differences, and excellent organization skills are all highly valued.
* you must be willing to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
