indeed is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented financial analyst to join our dynamic financial planning & analysis (fp&a) team. The primary focus of this role will be to serve as a key player within the r&d and broader fp&a team, acting as a business partner to mid-level and senior leadership. This role is accountable for delivering forward-looking insights, driver-based models, and clear financial narratives that shape strategic decisions and resource allocation. Success in this role comes from influence, thought leadership, and accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess a background in financial analysis, a deep understanding of marketing expense management, and the ability to provide strategic insights to drive informed decision-making.
who you are
prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports (planned vs. actual spend), variance analyses, month-over-month analysis, and dashboards to communicate expense trends and insights to key collaborators.
translate financial results and forecasts into compelling narratives, memos, and executive-ready recommendations; ensure fp&a delivers clear "so-what / now-what" insights that drive action.
communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial collaborators in a clear and concise manner.
serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders in r&d (product, engineering, infrastructure, trust, safety, monetization); anticipate needs, frame trade-offs, and provide insights that guide scalable, profitable growth.
advocate for standardized dashboards, central process documentation, and self-service tools; mentor peers and partners to reduce ad-hoc asks.
identify opportunities to automate manual processes, embed ai/analytics, and scale fp&a capabilities; drive experimentation, tool adoption, and continuous improvement.
partner with accounting, tax, and other finance teams to find efficiencies and increase cross-finance collaboration.
who we are
2–3 years of experience in fp&a, accounting, investment banking, consulting, and/or corporate finance with a focus on strategic partnership.
solid understanding of financial standards, budgeting, roi analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis.
proficiency in financial modeling and advanced proficiency in microsoft excel or google sheets.
ability to work autonomously with limited oversight.
excellent communication and storytelling; distill complex insights into executive-level narratives and recommended actions.
detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.

salary range disclaimer
compensation includes base salary and may include bonus or other forms of compensation consistent with company policy. Actual pay is determined by factors such as work location, skills, and experience, and will be confirmed during the offer process.
salary range transparency
mexico (remote): mxn 380,*,000 per year
final compensation will be based on location, experience, and internal equity. Note: rsus are not included in mexico offers.
